Integrated communication and monitoring system for mines that unifies dispatch, wireless, broadcast, and intercom systems with safety linkage. SIP-based, multi-vendor compatible.
The Mine Integrated Communication and Monitoring System integrates a mine's existing program-controlled dispatch, wireless communication, broadcast intercom, and public address systems into a unified, interconnected platform. By linking with personnel positioning, safety monitoring, and automation systems, it solves the long-standing challenge of communication silos between disparate mine subsystems.
Modern coal mines accumulate multiple communication systems over years of incremental deployment — program-controlled dispatch telephones, wireless communication networks, beltway broadcast intercoms, and public address systems — each operating as an isolated silo with no interconnection. The Mine Integrated Communication and Monitoring System eliminates these silos by integrating all communication subsystems into a unified platform and linking them with safety monitoring and automation systems for coordinated, cross-system response.
At the core of the system are an SIP server and a linkage control host. The SIP protocol enables standards-based interoperability between communication devices from different manufacturers, and the platform is compatible with equipment from major suppliers including Zhejiang Dahua, Jiangxi Lianchuang, Hangzhou Beichen, Shanghai Huaheng, Shenou, and Heng'an. Safety monitoring system compatibility extends to Changzhou Institute, Chongqing Academy, Changzhou Sanheng, and Meiansen systems, while broadcast intercom compatibility includes Huaning, Daqi, and other third-party broadcast telephones.
The system enables interoperability between dispatch telephones, wireless communications, broadcast systems, and beltway/working-face point-to-point communication along transport routes. Daily operations are conducted through the program-controlled dispatch console for convenience and efficiency. Broadcast system zones can place and receive calls to surface telephones for bidirectional communication, and inter-zone broadcast intercom allows direct communication between different areas. The system's multi-network one-key broadcast feature enables single-keystroke point/line/zone/level communication broadcast — a critical capability during emergencies when rapid, coordinated communication across multiple zones is essential.
The linkage with safety systems is where the platform delivers its highest value. Gas over-limit events automatically trigger broadcast alarms, personnel entering danger zones trigger automatic broadcast warnings, and equipment start/stop and fault events trigger automatic broadcast notifications. This automated, cross-system linkage eliminates the delay and potential for human error inherent in manual cross-system communication during critical safety events. The system also provides a voice query function for commonly needed information, further streamlining daily operations.
