Flameproof and intrinsically safe belt surface flaw detection image processor for real-time detection of bulges, peeling, cracking, tearing, edge wear and belt-joint abnormalities, AC 127 V.
The Flameproof & Intrinsically Safe Belt Surface Flaw Detection Image Processor is used for real-time detection of belt-surface bulges, pits, burrs, peeling, debonding, edge wear, rubber cracking, tearing, stacking and belt-joint abnormalities. With rated operating voltage of AC 127 V and maximum working current of no more than 1.0 A, it is designed for installation in hazardous underground areas.
A conveyor belt develops damage progressively — first small bulges and burrs, then peeling and cracking, and eventually tears that can destroy the belt and halt the transport line. Finding these defects early is the difference between a scheduled repair and an unplanned shutdown, but inspecting a running belt visually is impractical. The Flameproof & Intrinsically Safe Belt Surface Flaw Detection Image Processor automates this task: it is used for the real-time detection of belt-surface bulges, pits, burrs, peeling, debonding, edge wear, rubber cracking, tearing, stacking and belt-joint abnormalities.
The image processor analyzes the belt surface as it moves, recognizing the characteristic visual signatures of each defect type and flagging them as they occur. Early detection of edge wear and rubber cracking allows planned belt replacement; detection of peeling, debonding and bulges catches the early stages of damage before they escalate into tearing; and monitoring of belt-joint abnormalities tracks the most failure-prone part of any belt — its splice.
Main electrical specifications are modest by design: rated operating voltage of AC 127 V and a maximum working current of no more than 1.0 A. The flameproof and intrinsically safe construction allows the processor to be installed directly beside the belt line in hazardous underground areas, keeping the vision system at the point of measurement rather than back in a control room. For mines running high-value conveyor networks, the processor provides continuous, automated belt-condition intelligence that protects both the belt asset and the production schedule.
